
- Presented a paper, under the auspices of an ECOSOC NGO, at the UN Sub-Commission for the prevention of Discrimination and the Protection of Minorities, Geneva, on the agenda item relating to “Administration of Justice” during its Session in 1995;
- Written intervention and presentation of a paper, through an ECOSOC NGO, at the UN Commission on Human Rights, Geneva, on the subject of “Right to Self-Determination and its Application to people under Colonial or Alien Domination or Foreign Occupations during its Session in 1997;
- Submitted a formal Communication of several hundred pages to the Centre for Human Rights, Geneva concerning the human rights situation in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Intervened at the 54th Session of the UN Commission on Human Rights, Geneva, through an ECOSOC NGO, on the agenda item “Protection of Minorities".

- Written presentation, through an ECOSOC NGO, at the UN Commission on Human Rights at its 55th Session on various agenda items including self-determination, minorities, women and children.
- Intervened, through an ECOSOC NGO at the 56th Session of the UN Commission on Human Rights on the agenda item 7 “The right to development”.
- Interventions and written presentations, through an ECOSOC NGO at the 57th Session of UN Commission on Human Rights on various agenda items.
- Submitted a written paper, through an ECOSOC NGO, at the 58th Session of UN Commission on Human Rights.
- Written intervention and presentation of a paper, through an ECOSOC NGO, at the 59th Session of the United Nations relating to relevant agenda item “Racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and all forms of discrimination”;
- At the specially convened meeting at the 60th Session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, Barrister Majid Tramboo presented a written paper on behalf of 13 NGOs (namely African Society of International and Comparative Law, December 12th Movement International Secretariat, International Association Against Torture, International Educational Development, International Human Rights Association of American Minorities, International Indian Treaty Council, International Islamic Federation of Students Organisations, International Young Catholic Students, CIRAC, CAPSDH, North-South XXI, Rural Development Foundation and World Muslim Congress) on the murder of Sheikh Yasin.
